New Year's Resolutions
Happy New Year!
I hope you had a good time. I for one held a great, if I do say so myself, party at my house.
So 2005 has come and gone and it's really hard for me to think back on it. Mostly because it feels like such a blur. I know it wasn't the greatest of years for me but December was definately a great month what with the show, an awesome Christmas and said party to close things off.
But that's all in the past now and it's time to look towards the future. What will 2006 have in store for me?
I guess I can start off with some Resolutions that I will hopefully be able to stick to.
Back to the Gym: Since I don't smoke and therefore can't quit smoking, I'll jump on another popular resolution band wagon. Thanks to the very physical and exhausting nature of We Won't Pay! We Won't Pay! I've lost about 10 pounds and managed to keep it off over the Christmas eating season. Now that the show is over, I need to keep it off and want to slim down a bit more.
Union in the Cards: By the end of 2006, I want to officiate my status as a professional actor by joining a union. Whether it be ACTRA, Equity or UdA, I don't care. However, since I will be out of work in April, union status would be a great encouragement against the itty, bitty voice in my head that's telling me I'm crazy to think I can make a career in the arts.
Be more careful with money: Since I won't have a steady income coming in as of April, I really need to save money. This means cutting short trips to the mall and packing a lunch more often. Gah! Somehow, I think this will be the hardest resolution to keep.

I can tell you right now that quitting smoking is not one of my resolutions, so I'm glad to hear it's not one of yours. Getting to the gym more sounds good, though, so maybe we can help each other out there. Maybe I should strive for a career in the arts too...
