Ladies and Gentlemen, We have a show!

But first things first

For our staff Christmas outing, they took us curling today and I rock at it! (no pun intended)

I have finally found a sport I can do! And I don't care how many times one of my colleagues mentions that "if you can drink a beer and smoke a cigarette while doing it, it's not a sport." If the Olympics accept it as a sport, then it's a sport.

In other news, we had our open dress tonight and I have to say that it was great! And I want none of that mumbo jumbo about "Good Open Dress, Bad Opening Night" because technically, it was Take 2 of the open dress that was so good.

Everything is practically in place and we managed to shave at least 15 minutes off our last run time bringing us in at 1 hour and 20 odd minutes. We were that tight. And all things considered, we'll probably be able knock down another 2 or 3 minutes.

I feel good, although exhausted and banged up. It's a very physically demanding show and I feel it within every bone and muscle in my body. I ache, but it's a satisfying ache.
