So you want to be an actor?

It's Over

And when all is said and done, I'm actually quite sad about it. I had a blast throughout this intensive but completely rewarding experience.

The one thing I hate about the theatre experience is how close and how well you can click with some people only to never see them again or, at least, to never have that same connection with them. That is, unless you end up working together again on another project. Am I the only one this happens to? I'm not sure.

I'd like to thank everyone who had a chance to come out and see the show. I'm especially glad if you came on closing night because I felt incredibly good about that one.

And if you didn't make it out, who knows, we still haven't heard back from the fringe. However, with the response other incredibly talented people have received, I don't want to hold my breath. I know, it's a completely random draw, but still, I've never been very good with the odds. Besides, chances are that the lady at the Arts Court reception never even handed in the damn application form.

Anyway, I'm going to put that out of my mind for now and simply try to enjoy the holidays. I leave on Monday for home. It will be the first time in many years that I get to be home so early for the holidays since I don't have any exams ending on say December 21st. I probably would have left earlier had it not been for the show.

For now though, I leave you all with the sneaky Antonia. Hopefully I'll get to see her again sometime.

  • You can stop holding your breath. You're in at one confirmed Fringe show. But now I've got to write a role for you before June.

  • No, you're not the only one.

    Furthermore, ouch. I tried. Hard.
