Don't be fooled by the locks that I got, I'm still greasy from the block

So things have not exactly been going well on the mask side for the show. It seems that there have been a few problems in seperating the mask from the mold of our faces. So guess who had to get greased up all over again in order to have a backup mold?

Well, at least I wasn't the only one. But if I have to have vaseline slathered all over my face one more time! Well, they're just gonna have to use Matt Miwa as a backup Antonia. He looks better in a dress than I do anyway.

Also, the vaseline (to prevent the plaster from ripping of my skin) was all over the fringe of my hair. So while the stuff on my face came off pretty easily, my hair is still all greasy. The good news is, I won't have to use hair products for a week. The bad news is, stuff is starting to stick to the greasy strands; dust, plaster powder, cookie crumbs, ect (don't ask how the cookie crumbs got there cuz I don't know!)

But we now have a backup mask/rehearsal mask just in case things go sour with the other one. And for those who care to see, I'll try and get pictures and post them up for the full effect.

:p

  • Well I am glad you asked, Emily! My showw runs from Dec. 15th to the 17th (open dress on the 14th) at 6pm in the Studio of the Theatre Building. Why 6pm? Because Company of Fools has their show in Academic Hall at 8pm and we don't want to compete for the audience and fight the noise coming from upstairs throughout our show.

Also, it's FREE! Completely FREE! (although donations will be accepted)

Why? You going to be in town to see it? Awww! You're coming from Toronto just to see my show?!? I'm touched *sniffle*

    ;)
