F'n Writer's Block

I joined a playwrighting workshop a little while ago to help increase my skill level as a writer and motivate me to keep going. Since the workshop is on Thursdays, I would take the time before my Tuesday class in Marketing at Algonquin College to write a few pages of "homework". This new play I was working on was coming along pretty nicely until a few weeks ago when Family Matters took up most of my time.

Now, as I sit here in this empty classroom, I seem to have lost my groove. I can't think of what I want to write next. I'm fucking stuck and it sucks.

So I take some time now to jot how I'm feeling on my blog in the hopes that it will open up those creative juices that have suddenly stopped flowing.

...

So far, no such luck.

  • You know how you can click on "Next Blog" and just find a random blog? You know how usually when you do this, if you don't end up in some porn site trying to phish your puter, you find a blog that really has nothing to say to you?

Writer's block. I totally empathize. No advice. No suggestions. What works for me one time won't work the next. And I also know that accountability and such usually do work but in your case aren't. At least not now. I've experienced that as well, where accountability didn't matter and . . . words just aren't there.

Anyway, I came, I read, I commented. Hopefully sully you will be writing.
