What now?
I got headshots done this past weekend, and I was really excited about it. My current headshots are quite old and it was definately time for a change. Yesterday, I sent my top 5 to my agent in the hopes she could help me choose one. Unfortunately, she doesn't like them. And that's a pretty big deal.
She finds that they are too dark, they don't show my face very well and, in the end, they will not stand out in the minds of casting directors. And that's an even bigger deal.
So now I don't know what to do. I paid quite a bit of money for those pictures. Not to mention the money I spent on hair and makeup. I called the photographer and left him a message.
Currently, I am left with very few options:
1. The photographer manages to digitally touch up the pictures to make them better.
2. The photographer agrees to another sitting.
3. I go to another photographer.
4. I go ahead with the pictures anyway.
Option 1 seems kinda unlikely in my opinion. As for option 2 and 3, they will both cost me more money. Even if the photographer agreed to redo the sitting for free, I would still have to spend more money on hair and makeup, and option 3 is even more expensive.
I'm really frustrated right now. I don't know what to do. My agent didn't really have any other options for me, although she feels going with option for and getting copies made would be an even bigger waste.
I honestly don't know what to do.

Nancy, any headshot photographer worth his/her salt should offer you a complete guarantee on the outcome of the photo shoot. You should have no trouble getting another sitting, at no (or very little) charge. You GO, girl!
