Table for One

Why is it that people seem to look at you weird when you go to a restaurant and sit by yourself? Seriously, just so you know, I am not a pariah, I just find it very relaxing to dine alone. No miss, I don't want a seat at the bar, I want a table with the nice cushy chairs. Uh waiter? I'm not expecting anyone, feel free to serve me anytime.

Oh and I used to go to movies alone too.

No sir, you don't need to move your coat out of that chair, no one else is coming.
Ok, don't look at me like you're pitying me. Trust me, once your wife starts talking through the movie, you're gonna wish you were alone too!

Being alone is also a great opportunity to people watch, learn new walks and facial expressions that I might try using sometime on stage.

I feel like such a grown up when I go out alone. Try it. Lemme know how it goes.
