Ok, so I actually do have that voice audition after all. My agent just sent me the sides.
However, I'm stuck with the same problem I get everytime I'm asked to audition for a piece in French that has been directly translated from English: A HORRIBLY BAD TRANSLATION!
Seriously, French people do not talk the way these people are talking. I asked my agent if I could switch a few words around so the sentence actually made more sense, but she told me to stick to the script.
Ug.
Oh well, the gig pays 50$ an hour. For that much, I don't think I have too m uch of a problem butchering the French language.
Le sigh.
We all have our price. I just happen to be going for very cheap right now.
