Been a while
I know, I haven't posted at my regular rate lately because I've been really busy at work. So to all of you loyal readers who have my blog bookmarked and consider me a part of your daily surfing routine (Hi Dan!), I sincerely apologize.
Now, on with the blog.
I finally heard back from the film people yesterday which is good because I was starting to get worried. The 5 main actors and important crew memebers will be getting together this Sunday for a first read of the script. Our first day of shooting will be the first Saturday in May which I believe is the 7th. So, that gives me about two weeks to lose ten pounds, since, well you know what they say about that camera. This is ok though since I started a run clinic at Goodlife and will be doing that twice a week for like 8 weeks. Throw in 2 times a week with my gym buddy (Hi Jaime!) and 2 times with my trainer and I should be good. Hopefully.
Also, I've started my improv workshop through the Institution and so far the first class was a lot of fun. I'm really looking forward to more of them.
I've also been informed by my agent that they will also be needing extras in another MOW (movie of the week) being filmed in Ottawa betweem April 16th and the 9th and I told her that I was available at any time so far. Although I will have to give her my shooting schedule once I get it just so it doesn't interfere.
I start my new job on Monday and I'm still pretty busy with my current one. We have so many registrations coming in for summer camps that I can spend the entire day calling to confirm spots and doing data entry. I think my eyesight is starting to get affected by all of it. I'm also hoping that all my upcoming acting projects aren't going to interfere with my new job. My soon-to-be-old boss had always been very flexible with me and my acting, but I don't know how things will be now.
Everything is going really well though and I'm just trying to take it all in as it comes.
:)
