What's going on?
I don't know what's going on with this interview anymore. I asked to have the time changed and it was agreed to. But then I get a call a few hours later and they tell me they couldn't change it. WTF?
So I was kinda down and didn't really know what to do next. I mean, I'm not missing this audition. My boss had me write an email to his boss who is in charge of the interview committee basically saying that I'm sorry but I won't be able to attend the interview because I have to be in Montreal. I also added that I was available for any other time. She's gone until Monday so I won't hear back from her until then. Hopefully it can be changed. If not, oh well.
I also applied for a Production Manager position at the Museum of Civilization. I have experience with their theatre company since I did an internship with them through my Theatre degree. I had a good time and, while I would prefer acting, at least it would be a job in my field.
I ended up approving the proofs for my headshots through Galbraith. I think there are going to look really cool. I got two different headshots done because I had one with my hair up (that I didn't put on the site) that looks really good. I hear it's also a good idea to have more than one look. I can't wait to get the package. I'll put them up once I get them.
And now I hear Darcy is considering doing his Master's in Vancouver. Well, that's kinda cool. I mean I don't really have any definate plans for the future. All I know is that we are moving in together this September. I also do't really have something like a "career" to hold me back. Acting can be a pretty flexible career, especially if you want to do film in a big city. In fact, there are way more acting opportunities to be found in Vancouver then there are in Ottawa. It might actually be a good thing. I'm a pretty materialistic person though (unfortunately) so the only thing that would really bother me is the idea of moving all my stuff. I hate moving. I'm already not looking forward to it in September.
