I need a Job

Having lunch with my boss and another fellow employee today was the first time it hit me that my contract will be over at the end of April and that I will no longer be receiving any income. This kinda sucks because I'm not really sure what to do next. I also found out that they would be calling people for that Sports Services position I applied for a while back. Basically if you don't get a call you're not getting an interview, so I'm really not holding my breath.

But this does bring up an interesting situation. What am I going to do this Summer? My boss made it clear that I will be rehired in September, but for the Summer? My first impulse is to apply for EI. Being on EI would also mean that I could focus on my acting for a bit. Maybe even get some writing done. However, after checking my budget, I realize that the amount of money I am making now is exactly what I need to live and pay off my student loans. I guess there's a possibility that I could maybe get some assistance in paying off my loan. And if I get some acting gigs, it would help pay the bills.

Or, I could start looking for another job. I will need some spending money, and acting does come with a lot of initial expenses, so maybe I could just get something part-time. Unfortunately, most part-time jobs don't come with the flexibility I need for my acting.

Bah!

Maybe I'll just surf a few job sites and see if anything piques my interest. Other then that, let's just go with the flow and see what comes of it.
