I Want to Write a Movie

I've been thinking about things lately (I tend to do that:p), and quite often you hear that the best way for an actor to get work is to make his own. So I've decided that I want to write a movie. I don't know about what yet, but sometimes I just get these ideas for scenes in my head and I really feel like I should write them down. The thing is, although I have read my fair share of plays, scripts are another story. I think I might stop by Chapters and get a book on screenwriting. You know, stuff about format and character development, ect. Or if anyone out there is feeling generous, I signed up for a blog wishlist through Froogle (Google's shopping website). Anyway, screenwriting is just an idea I have been toying with lately. I don't know if anything will really come of it. Or if I'd even be good at it, but you never know.
