Google Search: nancy kenny
Did you ever do that? Google your own name just to see what comes up? I know it's a very egotistical thing to do, but I bet you've done it too. Of course, when I googled (not only is that word a noun, it's also and adjective and a verb!) my name, I had to specify pages from Canada or else I get too much unrelated stuff.
The results?
Well the first 5 or 6 lines actually had to do with me. Articles from the u of O newspapers, press releases from the U of O that happened to relate to me, even the intramural guide I edited for work, hell, even the comments I made on a friend's blog popped up. There were even things that weirdly related to me, but weren't about me. For instance, I got a website about the provincial elections in my hometown of Bathurst, but only because it was a woman named Nancy running against a guy with the last name Kenny (no relation) (actually, maybe a distant relation). Or a newpaper article with the names, but from my boyfriend's hometown. Those were sorta unsettling :p
But the thing that bothered me the most? Neither my website or my blog appear in the first 20 pages I searched. :/ That means that only friends and family are looking at this thing... and even then...

On a brighter note, I will be attending another Casting Director Workshop this weekend through ACT. More on that later.
