Listen Up!

I was excited on Friday to be starting rehearsals again. I went in there with one simple goal: Listen to the other person. And it worked! I felt really good about my rehearsals over the weekend. I feel like a lot of progress has been made even though we were away for such a long time.

Sunday was just a good... well, almost. The first two scenes we worked on went well. For the last one, not so much. Somehow, my brain managed to delete an entire scene from my memory (a scene that I had just finished working on two days prior to rehearsal). I don't know if it was because we had only stumbled through that scene once before, but it just wouldn't stick. It was an embarassing waste of time for everyone involved. By the end though, I had somehow managed to pick it up again. Let's hope it stays that way.
