Insomniac Inspiration

Since over the Holidays I didn't have to go to work, I fell into the habit of staying up late and getting up later. Now that I'm back to the grind, sleep at a decent hour is not coming easy. However, last night, in the midst of another fit of tossing and turning and blanket stealing, inspiration struck me like a lightning bolt between the eyes. I briefly mused on the thought that the idea would still be there by morning before discarding it and racing to my laptop. It was there, at around 1am, that I wrote over six pages of dialogue.

Sleep came easy after that.
