New Year’s Resolutions or the Year of Spontaneity
Happy New Year, everyone! I hope that things for you are off to a good start. They sure did for me. The New Year’s Eve Spectacular was a blast! Good times were had by all. I’ve already received one set of pictures from the party and I’m hoping to get another one soon. I’ll figure out some way to set up an online album once I do.
It’s funny how people associate a new year with the time for new beginning, but so be it. 2007 for me will be the year of spontaneity. I will try my best not to have everything planned out. Instead I will just go with what comes my way.
Anyway, here it is, my New Year’s Resolutions. Things I would like to see happen in 2007 include:
-Staying in shape (I’m going to avoid saying “getting back into shape” although with all the food I ate over Christmas, that wouldn’t be too far off)
-Producing my own work (working on it!)
-Getting into the Union (failed New Year’s Resolution for 2005 and 2006… third time is the charm though, right?)
-Dancing (some of the girls from class and I are going to start taking classes together)
-Learning to play guitar (for the record, I had already thought of this one before we spent the vast majority of the night playing Guitar Hero on PS2)
-Continuing to grow and better myself as a person and as an artist (I know, this one is kinda vague and should go without saying, but I’m all about putting it out there to the universe)
What are your resolutions?

That's a frickin' lot of sugar...
If you and the girls are having a hard time trying to pick a dance class, let me suggest pole dancing.
Let me also suggest that I be allowed to watch.
(my New Year's resolution was to be more lecherous than 2006, which was, quite frankly, pretty tame)
(I'm kidding, I didn't make a resolution, but I need to drop 10-15 lbs, and I had pledged earlier in the year to run a marathon in 2007 ... so I guess I sort of did)
(I like parentheses)
