The MySpace Craze

I don't get it

I don't get the appeal of MySpace. So far, most of the pages I've seen have felt very cluttered and are confusing to navigate. There are so many pictures and colours and video clips and music clips, which is really fun when you're experiencing a little downtime at work and decide to check someone's page out, only to realize you can't find the stop button because there's too much other stuff on the page. You don't even get separate pages for everything. It's just all there.

It's as if someone told you: "Tell me about yourself and everything you like." And people then vomit onto the web. And then they add pink to make it pretty.

Personally, I like blogs. I want to read about what you're doing, what you're interests are, and what you think about things because I'm lazy (or a bitch) and I don't want to have to call you. And I want it all in an easy to read format.

But I may just be old-fashined that way.
