I had the privilege on Saturday of watching an incredibly solid show.
Evolution Theatre is currently presenting Insomnia by Daniel Brooks and Guillermo Verdecchia, directed by Chris Bedford, at the U of O's Academic Hall.
This show was technically stunning and most of the performances were just fantastic. Even Alvina Ruprecht enjoyed it! (Check under Shakespeare to Dieudonne)
Unfortunately, they have not been getting the audiences they rightly deserve.
The show still runs from July 11th to 14th. All shows start at 8pm and there is an additional Saturday matinee on the 14th beginning at 2 p.m. Tickets are $15 at the door for adults, $10 for students. Reservations can be made by calling 613-864-3386, or by sending an email to evolutiontheatre@gmail.com.
Do yourself a favor this week and go see this show! Oh, and do your friends a favor by bringing them too. You will not regret it.
