Goodbye Non-Union Independant Films
This past weekend, I shot what will probably amount to being my last non-union independant film.
That's right folks, Nancy is getting her first ACTRA credit!
So what does that mean?
Well, the biggest thing is that if I'm in a movie or a TV show, I have to get paid for it. It also means that if I do background work in town, I am guaranteed at least 160$ for my day. It means I can now audition for commercials. It means that I have someone looking out for my best interests on set. It means I have to get food and breaks when working.
But most of all, it means that I am taking a major step towards a career as a professional actor.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to go teach kids about birth control
