Lay Off!
Ok, this is my blog and it's true that you, dear readers, are allowed to post what you like in the comments section. However, I expect those comments to be either nice or filled with constructive criticism.
So whoever the jackass is who posted a hurtful and spiteful comment while being too much of a coward to actually identify themselves, I just want to say Fuck you!
I will not tolerate people like you on my blog.

Blogs are funny things. Lots of people create them because they think they will find freedom in being able to post their thoughts on the web, or because they feel they have something to share that will *connect* them with others who have the same interests. What inevitably happens is that the reality of a pure, public forum smacks you in the face: you put your heart on your sleeve to create something meaningful, and then somebody eventually comes along and stomps on it. It only has to happen once. Soon you'll start watering down your posts to make sure that nobody could possibly be offended; eventually you'll self-censor to the point that you don't post at all.
IMHO, you just hit the point that we all eventually hit: the end of Blog Innocence.
Ironically, the decision to live one's life openly by posting to a blog tends to result in a tendency to keep the things you really WANT to be open about even MORE private.
Not surprisingly, this effect occurs as a result of the actions of people who think they are protecting themselves by not taking responsibility for their comments. I'm not CERTAIN of this, but doesn't Blogger allow you to set your preferences so that only people whose comments have NAMES attached can actually post?
Oh, and re: independent projects: do you sing? ;)

Oh, you know what Kris, you're right. I think there is that kind of a comment function. And while I don't think that I will be watering down my posts (at least not too much :p), I will definately take my web-dictator privileges very seriously and boot any anonymous Tom, Dick, or Harry who decides to polute my little world.
:)
As for your singing question, why yes I do! And I always forget to ask you whenver I saw you if Zuchini Grotto was ever going to have auditions.
