R.I.P.
I'm not a fan of opera and I don't know what he is singing.
But, wow... that is probably one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard.

I can offer my tragically thorough knowledge of opera to help out in this case. The aria is "Nessun Dorma" from the last act of the opera Turandot. It is sung by the prince Calaf in response to a decree by the princess that he loves which says that nobody in their city will sleep that night because they are all challenged to discover the Prince's name. If they find it before sunrise then the Princess will not marry the Prince. If the whole city is unsuccessful, then she will agree to his proposal. Kind of like an overacted Rumpelstiltskin, frankly. And I'd like to state for the record that I only know this because I work for the opera company and not because I sought out the information on my own. Just so you know. ;P
